Aruba

Mostly known for it's sun and fun, Puerto Rico has made it's name for a total vacation location. No single feature alone attracts tourists to Puerto Rico.

Very nice beaches with all the water sport activities associated with the ocean are available.  Water skiing, para-sailing, sail boating, jet skies, snorkeling, and scuba diving all await the visitors.  Tennis facilities abound as well as some spectacular golf courses.  If all this sounds too strenuous there is always "sun worshiping" with all the "creature comforts" one could ask for at your fingertips.

Popular with American companies, Puerto Rico hosts many corporate "get-aways" as prizes rewarding top producers and staff. Puerto Rico has a little of everything. Once the sun sets on Puerto Rico, the casinos and night clubs provide the action till the sun rises the following morning.

Cruise ships routinely use Puerto Rico as a favorite stop over during their Caribbean tour packages.

Scuba:

Puerto Rico does have some scuba diving locations.  It is not the mainstay of  the island's economy or the singular reason to visit the island but is available.  Puerto Rico is not regarded as a "scuba diver's vacation site" other islands are better suited to fill that bill.  This destination is more favorably suited for group travelers, where a variety of activities is more important than quality of diving.
