I really enjoy being a part of Trustpilot. I often have a lot to say about various companies and services but it’s difficult to know where to post my opinions. Most of the time, we only take the time to share our thoughts on negative experiences- it’s human nature. Having had experience in retail management, i understand the importance of honest feedback, both negative and positive. I prefer to share good experiences but never know if it makes a difference or where the most visibility will be. It does matter at Trustpilot! It also seems like the reviews are screened to an extent to ensure that what’s posted is helpful and not just nonsense, fake or biased. Trustpilot is cool because I get reminders to review and if a company has my email or sends me an email requesting a review- it’s automatically added to my Trustpilot account and that makes it really easy.

Puts users at risk of experiencing a data breach! Avoid.

Extremely dishonest and rather sketchy service, interestingly advertises and prides itself upon finding trustworthy” companies.. yet does not happen to be a very trustworthy worthy platform themselves. Seemingly having an issue when users use a VPN, I personally use one as my private and personal informed was leaked and then sold on the dark web. The fact trust pilot seems to be bothered by my VPN is rather odd.. you do not need to know my location unless I willingly give it to you. This now proves that regardless if a user has location setting turned off that Trustpilot still has access to the users private data info.. not very “trustworthy.”

You needn’t be conference of who wrote this review. Please fix this mistake on your behalf and make the detailed and very well written review I had made for “SmokingCats” it took me over an hour to write and hit all focal points of my review. If and once this has been corrected and my review to SmokingCats made public WITH my VPN active which protects my data whilst I browse online.. until then this reveiw will remain, should I endure any further data leak or breach to my information whilst you have made me disable my VPN.. you will be held legally accountable for personal information.

I love the concept of TrustPilot, sadly they seem to suspend your account for no apparent reason. You’ll spend a great deal of time and effort posting reviews only to have your account banned and your reviews taken down. I’m a valuable and trusted member of the reviewing community. I’ve been writing reviews for nearly 15 years. I am a member of the Elite Squad of reviewers on Yelp. I have never had any issue with my reviews. I truly am taking precious time out of my schedule to write these reviews and post them on TrustPilot in order to help other people who might need to read these reviews.

The fact that TrustPilot keeps suspending my account has left me so frustrated that I likely will not try to post reviews on their site any longer and I will no longer support their site in general. An example of my getting my account suspended occurred very recently, when I was attempting to leave a review for my Primary Care Physician (PCP). TrustPilot quickly suspended my account and then had the audacity to ask me to prove that I was a patient of this medical provider! The worst part, is that I gave them proof that I was a patient, but to TrustPilot, this proof wasn’t good enough, they both want and refuse to accept proof that is private in nature.

I truthfully wouldn’t waste any time posting reviews on this site.
